A BIT ABOUT ME

A Life of Fitness

I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a lifelong love of all things fitness. Growing up I was a competitive swimmer for 10+ years. In college I played water polo, intramural ultimate frisbee and dabbled in sprint triathlons. More recently, I've fallen in love with rock climbing and Tae Kwon Do and am a sucker for a good football game, softball league or local 5k fun run. While I realize not everyone shares my love of exercise, fitness is a vital component to sustained health, wellness and independence across the life span.

After earning a Masters degrees in both Social Work and Business from Washington University, I worked in nonprofit management for many years. Though the work was rewarding, I made the decision to stay home after the birth of my first child. Learning to balance the demands of motherhood with self-care is an ongoing challenge, and has helped me realize the importance of exercise to my physical and emotional health.

Exercise for Life, LLC is a project filled with passion; a passion for movement, a passion for activity, a passion for exercise in all its forms. It's a passion I'm excited to share.

Through education, coaching and training, I can share my passion with you. Together we'll evaluate your barriers to exercise, establish your health goals, and design your personal fitness routine. You never know, we might just discover your passion for fitness as well!
